It has recently been announced that Logan Sargeant will remain with Williams Racing for the 2024 Formula 1 season.

In his rookie season in Formula 1, the 22-year-old ended the 30-year wait for an American point scorer in F1 after finishing 10th in the Austin Grand Prix and picking his first point.

The American had a tough season in the Williams FW45, only managing to finish above teammate Alex Albon on three occasions, though with the partnership continuing for another year there will be more time for the two to work together and better the teams overall performance.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding who would take the Williams seat at last weekend’s final Grand Prix of the year, team principal James Vowles commented that “Logan has demonstrated immense skill whilst under the pressure of the world stage, making him a perfect fit for our team”.

Logan also commented on the announcement expressing how he is “thrilled to be continuing with Williams Racing for the 2024 season.

“It has been an incredible journey with the team so far, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue developing as a driver within such a talented and dedicated group.”

Williams’ announcement means the 2024 grid is now complete.
